We stopped in on a chilly evening about an hour before closing, and the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Since it was our first visit, they happily let us sample several flavors without any hesitation, which we really appreciated. They offer a nice variety of flavors to choose from. One difference compared to places like Baskin Robbins is that you can’t visually see the ice cream before ordering. The setup has a small vestibule where you place your order—you can see the flavor names, but not the ice cream itself unless you request a sample. While this may lead customers to sample more, the staff handled it graciously and never seemed frustrated. They offer a drive-thru and outdoor seating with tables and umbrellas, though it was too cold for us to sit outside. You order at one window and pick up your ice cream at another, which was quick and efficient. As for the flavors: the double fudge brownie was very rich and chocolate-forward, with generous brownie pieces—possibly a bit heavy for some. The cheesecake flavor was good but lighter than traditional cheesecake, with pieces mixed in and a milder finish. The vanilla was a classic vanilla, though it doesn’t quite compare to Blue Bell (hard to beat!). They also offer milkshakes, which we plan to try on a future visit. Portion sizes are generous—I’d recommend the kids size, which is 12 ounces and more than enough. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and would stop by again if we were in the area and craving something sweet.
