I am deeply shocked and frustrated by the experience my group and I had at this Bruster's location on October 10, 2025, around 9:30 PM. This visit was marked by blatant customer discrimination and outright dishonesty from the staff. When we asked for test scoops, the employee was extremely direct and rude, stating flatly, "We don't have them as we are out of test scoops." We were forced to order a flavor based only on the staff's vague, one-word response ("It's good"), and the flavor we received was unfortunately very unappealing. The worst part came immediately after. The very next customer in line asked for test scoops and was immediately served them. I was shocked by this obvious discrepancy. When I approached the staff to ask about this clear discrimination, their justification was that the second customer was an "ex-employee." I pointed out that today, they are a customer just like I am. The ex-employee then interjected, stating that the staff "can decide whoever they want to give [test scoops] to." This is unacceptable behavior. Giving one customer test scoops while lying to the previous customer's face that you are "out" is a clear case of discrimination and a terrible way to treat patrons. I would have preferred the staff to be direct and say, "We choose not to give you a test scoop," rather than lying to us. The overall treatment, from the rude initial interaction to the blatant display of favoritism and discrimination, made this a very disappointing and frustrating experience. Future customers should be aware of this concerning management and staff conduct.

Consistently inconsistent. You ordered a waffle cone with two scoops? That’s nice, maybe you’ll get two scoops, or maybe a scoop with a little more smeared on top. You’ll surely be charged for what you ordered but you won’t get it, and if you inquire you’ll be ignored. Perhaps you’re served the wrong ice cream because it doesn’t taste right. Don’t worry the person “in charge” will tell you how you’re wrong and probably are just confused about what flavor you actually ordered. Want it fixed? Sorry, they’re just there to hang out in the back and tell you how confused and wrong you are. The ice cream is pretty good overall but definitely don’t expect to get the amount you want or actually what you ordered. You, customer person, are just wrong. Next!
